Chef Hisashi "Teddy" Uehara first opened the doors of AGU Ramenยฎ in 2013 in Hawaii. AGU quickly became a Hawaiian haven for Japanese comfort food with five Oahu locations from Honolulu to Kapolei. Since then, Chef Hisashi vision of spreading the ramen culture worldwide has expanded to Houston and Dallas, Texas. Everything is made with ramen sweat and love: the signature broth takes 24 hours to craft, the chicken broth more than 9 hours, and the cha-shu 18 hours.
